Located on the edge of the Peak District, on a 26 acre estate in the grounds of a former 500 year old hotel, this is the ideal holiday home for those looking to explore and appreciate this truly awe inspiring area. A great base for those who love the outdoors with many treks and trails in the area. A wealth of National Trust properties are easily reached including Nostell Priory and Parkland, Hardcastle Crags, East Riddlesden Hall and Lyme Park to name but a few. The small town of Holmfirth is close by. Sleeping 6, this characterful property offers good family accommodation. The living room is a comfortable place for the family to relax at the end of an active day. There's also a dining room and fully fitted kitchen. The bedrooms afford views across the estate on the upper level there is a family bathroom with shower and bath., and separate wc. Please note that there are several steps in between rooms on the ground floor and that there are steep stairs to the first floor, therefore maybe not suitable for the elderly and very young children. The property benefits from an enclosed garden with BBQ and garden furniture, with guests invited to explore the rest of the grounds as they please.
