This romantic bolthole for two enjoys a peaceful setting, surrounded by the tranquil Norfolk countryside. The cottage is in the quaint village of Mattishall, where you'll find a handful of local shops, including a fish and chip shop, as well as a friendly pub. Quiet country lanes branch away from the village, offering fabulous walking opportunities. Nearby days out include the cathedral city of Norwich (13 miles) and the beaches of the North Norfolk coast (within 30 miles). The former mill has been beautifully converted into a unique holiday home that's full of character and charm. Enter the property into the farmhouse-style kitchen, which has traditional wooden units, accessories, and all the equipment needed for a self-catering break. From here, move through to the cosy lounge/diner, where an array of comfortable seating sits underneath a striking, beamed ceiling. Relax here, after a long walk, watching the TV/DVD in the glow of the wood burner-effect electric fire, or sharing romantic dinners for two at the dining table.
