Stroll to the sand dunes and estuary beach popular with bathers and sand castle makers, as well as the village shop, yacht club, pubs and very well known restaurants.Seasonally, take the passenger ferry across to the historic fishing village of Appledore which also offers a range of good pubs and restaurants. The Tarka Trail is just a few minutes away and is perfect for walkers, with some lovely riverside views along the former railway line. Other attractions include Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep and National Trust Arlington Court. In the evenings relax on the terrace and enjoy the sunsets or enjoy village hospitality in the local pub. From the entrance there is a lounge/diner which is a great place for entertaining, with superb views across the roof tops and the estuary to Appledore and beyond.
