The property is located just five miles from the historic market town of Sherborne where you can spend an interesting day exploring its two castles, the historic Abbey, as well as its range of shops and choice of restaurants and pubs. Of course, Dorset is well known for its breathtaking Jurassic Coast, which lies just thirty miles south of the property, offering a wealth of sweeping beaches, clifftop walks along the South West Coast Path and opportunities to try out a range of watersports. Other places of interest in the area include the Haynes Motor Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, and the Cerne Abbas Giant. Stepping into the ground floor of this attractive semi detached barn conversion property, you will find yourself in the inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its beamed ceiling and homely atmosphere. Two sofas provide guests with a comfortable spot in which to relax with a book, or enjoy a film on the TV/DVD. The dining table comfortably seats four, behind which the kitchen area running along one side of the room is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with sloping ceilings, and therefore some reduced head height. The first of these is a double room which benefits from its own TV, whilst the second is a pleasant twin room. The shower room with its shower and WC is also located on the first floor. Heading outside, the property has a delightful enclosed patio garden with a table and chairs from which you can enjoy views over the surrounding fields. Guests are also able to make use of a shared games room which offers a snooker table, dartboard, and a table football table. The property is located on a non working part of the owners organic farm, but they are always happy to show guests around and introduce them to the resident sheep and chickens. There is secure bike storage available.
