Sea Dream Cottage is a beautifully furnished & decorated, 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, pet friendly holiday home; a central Shaldon holiday cottage full of subtly luxurious touches! Perfectly positioned at the heart of the village between the iconic green & The Clipper Café, with Shaldon Beach along The Strand. The cottage's coastal style invites you to kick off your shoes, slow your pace of life and appreciate the great outdoors. Simply put, it's summer by the sea, bottled! The entrance welcomes you straight in to the charming lounge with relaxing sofa's, a Smart TV and elegant seaside chic dining area which follows on through to a spacious kitchen and a sunny breakfast room with opening glass doors onto a small palm & fern planted patio. A contemporary grey tiled shower room with hand basin & WC is to the left of the breakfast room also. The kitchen is equipped with a tall fridge freezer, Neff oven, induction hob & extractor & dishwasher. Leading from the kitchen is a stable back door past the small utility area complete with washing machine, which leads out to a sunny, enclosed patio with table and chairs. Walk upstairs onto the landing and in front of you is second luxury shower room & hand basin followed by a light & airy, front facing, double sized master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a wall mounted Freeview TV, drawers & hanging rail and an en-suite WC & hand basin. A little further down the corridor are two further bedrooms ~ a double bedroom and a third bedroom with twin beds ideal for younger children. In-between is a WC & hand basin. Both of these rear bedrooms enjoy views of the sea through the trees. Vaulted ceilings & Velux windows are a feature in all the bedrooms together with wall mounted FreeviewTV's, drawers & hanging space for your clothes. The coastal style flows throughout bedroom two & three with pale grey painted floorboards & classic striped curtains which evoke the simple, easy-going spirit of the summer months all year round, when the sun is shining, the beach is calling and life is relaxed and easy. The village has excellent restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops all within easy walking distance and sailing, a zoo and children's play park close by. Two miles away is the excellent Teignmouth Golf Course designed by the Augusta National architect. Shaldon's elegant Georgian architecture, fisherman's cottages and narrow streets exude charm. Throughout the year there are activities, festivals and the very popular Shaldon Regatta in August, a nine day event that is over 200 years old and offers fun for all the family. . Village shops include; award winning butchers, excellent bakery, pharmacy, Post Office, village store, hairdressers, gift and craft shops. Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
