When you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen has everything you could need to whip up something delicious. Climb the stairs to the first floor to find a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed, plus a family shower room. Up another set of cottage-style stairs to the second floor, you can curl up in the attic-style bedroom, which again features a double and a single bed beneath characterful low, sloping ceilings. On sunny days, nothing beats sipping a glass of something chilled in the courtyard garden, surrounded by colourful flowers.

Just 3 miles away, guests can explore the iconic cobbled streets of Whitby, and 2 miles away the shores of Robin Hood's Bay, famed for its tales of smugglers and pirates. Alternatively, take a stroll and admire the breathtaking Falling Foss waterfall, located just 5 miles away, or adventure along one of the many picturesque walking and cycling trails, with access to the Cleveland Way only 6 miles from the cottage.
