Only 2 miles from the pretty market town of Reepham, this stylish lodge offers the perfect escape to the country for a couple or small family. Wrapped in tranquil countryside straddling the Wensum and Bure Valleys, this quiet hamlet is home to the heritage Whitwell and Reepham Railway – a treat for train enthusiasts – while the Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure Park (4 miles) is guaranteed to keep kids entertained. The local area offers an abundance of cycling and walking routes, including the 26-mile Marriott’s Way running between Norwich and Aylsham. Head to the fine city of Norwich (12 miles) to explore its medieval lanes, historic castle and cathedrals, and independent shops, restaurants and pubs, or drive to the North Norfolk coast (20 miles) for seaside towns, coastal walks, sandy beaches, wildlife, and seafood galore.


The entrance leads you into a bright and spacious open-plan room with comfortable sofas, perfect for snuggling up with a book or watching smart TV after a busy day exploring. There’s a family dining area and fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, and microwave, so you can dine in when you wish. Down the hall there are two bedrooms, one king-size with TV and one twin, and a shower room with WC.


There are two spaces to dine outside, allowing you to choose between sun and shade as you wish ¬– a table and chairs on the front patio, and another in the enclosed rear patio. Here you’ll also find a BBQ and hot tub – the perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day. The lodge forms half of a complex (larger parties can book both properties), which share an outdoor, all-weather tennis court, as well as a fabulous games room for kids of all ages to let off steam.
