Its location in the southerly reaches of England's most western county ensures plenty of choice for guests. Stunning beaches such as Gwithian, world-class cultural centres, namely St Ives with its Tate Modern art gallery - and iconic Cornish landmarks such as St Michael's Mount all lie within a 10-mile drive. This cottage combines comfort and elegance. The airy living space is light and uncluttered providing the perfect atmosphere to relax, pull up the drawbridge and embrace the holiday mood. Cosy sofas invite bookworms to curl up with a good read or film buffs to gather around a favourite DVD. Or you may just prefer to fling open the French doors and light the BBQ on the private, patio area. At the end of all this, the super-king-size bed awaits – stretch out and dream of the adventures ahead. For some of you, this might mean a day spent exploring the local town of Hale, under 3 miles distant with its range of shops and cafes where you can try out some of Cornwall's foodie specialities such as the well-loved pasty, steaming from the oven. Alternatively, you may wish to travel to St Ives, within a 7-mile drive of your base, where you can seek out cultural treasures such as Tate Gallery, meander through narrow streets window shopping or simply watch the world go by in one of its beachside cafes.
