This property is located just one mile from the town of Sturminster Newton and yet enjoys a quiet location surrounded by fields. This pretty market town sits on the River Stour and offers a good range of shops and eateries as well as some interesting architecture, including the sixteenth century watermill and a picturesque six arch bridge, the inspiration behind a poem written by the town s famous former resident Thomas Hardy. The area around the town has much to offer visitors, including the towns of Shaftesbury and Dorchester, the magnificent Cerne Abbas Giant, Lulworth Cove beach, and the iconic limestone arch of Durdle Door. When guests arrive at this contemporary detached annex, they enter through a hallway, turning left into the kitchen/living/dining room. The lounge area has a window and 2 sets of double French doors which overlook the outside area and paddock. The room boasts 2 double sofa sets, one double for watching TV and one double set for general relaxation looking out over the paddock, a dinning table seating 6 8 people and a small games football table. The open doorway leads to the kitchen area, which offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge (stand alone freezer can be found in the cupboard under the stairs), dishwasher and washing machine. Continuing down the hallway you will come to a quiet ground floor King bedroom. On the first floor of the property, there are 2 bedrooms. The first of these is a spacious master suite with a King bed and an en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. The second bedroom is a restful King or twin room with 2 x smaller sized 2 6 beds. (Please indicate which preference on booking.) The shower room on the first floor offers a shower and WC, whilst there is also a WC on the ground floor. Outside there is a patio area with bench style table and seating which overlooks the enclosed paddock just across the driveway. There is also a BBQ available on request.
3 bedrooms: 2 King and 1 king or twin (2 x 2'6" beds which can be made up as a king size, requested at the time of booking). En suite bathroom with bath, shower, and WC to the king size room. Shower room with shower and WC, plus separate ground floor WC. TV & DVD player. Kitchen: oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Electric, and central heating included. Please note: dogs to remain downstairs. Parking for 2 cars. Shops and pubs 1 mile, beach 20 miles.
