Number Three, Skelwith Fold

Number Three Skelwith Fold Cottages is the ideal base for a family holiday in the Lake District. It’s situated in a quiet hamlet on the outskirts of Skelwith Fold Holiday Park in Ambleside with beautiful views over the surrounding fells. The cottage is well placed for exploring nearby Windermere and Hawkshead as well as award-winning attractions nearby. It’s well equipped and will provide a home from home experience whilst holidaying in The Lakes.

The cottage accommodates up to six people across three generously sized double bedrooms – two of which have full modern en-suite bathroom facilities while the third is located across from the main bathroom.

The holiday home is comfortable and spacious with a large kitchen and dining space downstairs and open living room on the first floor. The living room is bright and airy with ample seating, creating a cosy and inviting space to relax at the end of the day.

This Ambleside holiday cottage was originally built to house staff working in Skelwith Manor, until it was demolished in the 1950s to make way for what would become the premier holiday park it is today. We’ve worked hard to retain many of the original features, including oak beams and slate walls during to fit-out process, to seamlessly blend old and new interior design styles.

For your comfort, the cottage has been heated with a modern and energy efficient boiler to keep you warm and cosy throughout the year. We have also installed the latest mod cons to help you enjoy your stay. There is a Google Nest device in the kitchen to help around the house. Throughout Number Three we added top quality fixtures and fittings to ensure you have a luxury stay. From the large TV in the living room for a relaxing evening after a day in the Lakes, to the heated mirrors in the bathrooms, everything is geared to helping you have an unforgettable stay.
