- Sandy beach can be reached on foot in a couple of minutes
- There is a pub/restaurant, a post office, surfboard hire and general store close by
- Praa Sands 9 hole golf course overlooking the sea is not far away
- Marazion, Penzance, Porthleven and Helston are all within a 15 minute drive
